Spanish actress based in Los Angeles and NYC

Celia Rocha was born in Barcelona, Spain. She is quadrilingual of Spanish, English, French and Catalan. She began her acting training at the age of 7 while starring on several commercials for Spain and France. At the age of 10, she was selected among 700 actresses to become the spanish voice of Lucy Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia saga, she also made her first film that year, Projecte Cassandra (Xavier Manich, Filmax). A few titles on TV came after that where she had the pleasure to work with directors such as Isabel Coixet (Paris, je t’aime, My life without me), Agustí Villaronga (Black Bread), Belen Gayán and on stage with Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia, The Iron lady).

 

After finishing High School in the Lycée Français de Barcelone she did one year of Media and Communication at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona and was continuing her acting training at the Nancy Tuñon/Jordi Oliver Studio.

In 2014 she moved to New York to continue her training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She graduated in 2016 and in 2017 she obtained the O1 Artist Visa in the US, an extraordinary accomplishment for international actors working abroad.

Her latest projects include her Off Broadway debut last February starring as Melibea in La Celestina at Repertorio Español a landmark for Hispanic actors; and a role in "Wake Up" a short film directed by Olivia Wilde and starring Margaret Qualey. She had the pleasure to be selected by ABC Casting to be part of their Disney Television Discovers Workshop Week 2021.
